Eventi 101

What Eventi is. And what it isn't

Eventi is a social meetup app built around activities and events. You create the activity. A music event, a hike, a Saturday match, drinks tonight. And Eventi notifies people nearby based on matching interests. It's built around real-world experiences, not profiles or swipes.

Eventi isn't built around matching with individuals. It's built around plans. You meet people because you're heading to the same gig, joining the same pickup match, or signing up for the same activity. And the conversation starts with shared context, not a one-on-one DM.

Both. Travellers use Eventi to land somewhere new and find people to share the night with. Locals use it to make their week social. Finding others heading to the same event, sport, or social club. The same app works for both.

No. Eventi doesn't have a swipe deck. You browse plans and activities, see who's going, and join the ones you're keen on. Less scrolling, more showing up.

Meeting people

How you actually connect with others

Pick or create an activity. A gig, a sport, a meetup, a night out. Set the vibe, link an event if there is one, and you're in. Other people heading to the same thing join, you coordinate in chat, then meet up in person.

No. You can join a plan just to be there. The chat handles introductions in context. Many people don't message before showing up; the shared activity carries the conversation.

Activities happen in public spaces. Events, venues, parks, group meetups. Which is by design. You can chat with the group before meeting, control your privacy settings, and block or report anyone who doesn't follow our community guidelines.

Your profile is visible to other Eventi users so people can vibe-check the group before showing up. You control what you share. Name, photo, short bio, the activities you're into. We never publish your data outside the app.

Events & activities

What you can use Eventi for

Pretty much anything social. Gigs, festivals, sports games, pickup matches, run clubs, trivia nights, hikes, comedy shows, art openings, food markets, day trips. If you'd be doing it anyway, Eventi just makes it shared.

We aggregate events from trusted sources including Ticketmaster, local venues, and event organisers. You can also create your own activity. Link an event, or just propose something like 'pickup five-a-side, Sunday 10am'.

Yes. Anyone can create an activity in the app. If you organise events professionally and want them featured, head to our Partnerships page.

Eventi works anywhere people are showing up. Australia is where the most activity is right now (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide), but the app works wherever you open it.
